Green Valley is home to many retirees and many devoted pets, a lot of them the steady companions of a long, settled life. When it's time, we come to you, so your pet can stay in their favorite chair or out on the patio facing the Santa Ritas, with you right beside them.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
One flat price, whatever the day, the hour, or the size of your pet. No mileage, no surcharges.
A lot of in-home providers charge more for a larger pet, more for the drive, and more after hours. We keep it simple: the figure above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Green Valley is a drive for us, down I-19 past Sahuarita, so we plan the day around it and give you an honest arrival window. Many neighborhoods here are HOA communities with their own entry rules, and some homes sit up the slopes toward the Santa Ritas. Tell us your community and any access instructions when you book.
We come to homes throughout Green Valley, including Canoa Ranch, the neighborhoods on both sides of I-19, and the homes out toward Madera Canyon. The list is only a sample. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you straight away whether we can reach you.
A Luna veterinarian comes to your home for every appointment. Our veterinarians chose this work on purpose: gentle, in-home euthanasia is what they do, not something squeezed in between clinic appointments.
Nobody is on a stopwatch. The visit takes as long as you need it to.
Nothing happens until you're ready. We start by sitting with you, learning a little about your pet, and answering every question, including the ones that feel hard to ask. Your pet stays wherever they're comfortable.
A sedative with strong pain medication comes first, and over the next five to fifteen minutes your pet drifts into a deep sleep. When you give the word, and not before, the veterinarian gives the final injection. It is gentle and quick.
You'll keep a clay pawprint and a lock of fur, and we'll give you all the time you need alone together.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If your pet has already died at home, please call or text 520-600-0339. We can come to your home in Green Valley, gently take your pet into our care, and arrange the cremation: $455 for communal cremation, or $590 if you'd like your pet's ashes returned.
No. Green Valley is part of our Tucson-area service area, and the price doesn't change with the drive. Calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance of coming when you'd like.
Of course. You're welcome to have a friend, neighbor or family member there, and our veterinarian will never rush you. If you'd like to talk on the phone first, just call.
No. It's $405 whatever the day, the time, or the size of your pet.
