Flowing Wells is one of the older neighborhoods on Tucson's north side, close-knit, with long-time residents and plenty of pets who have grown up on the same block. When it's time to say goodbye, we come to you, so your pet stays in the home they've always known.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
One flat price, whatever the day, the hour, or the size of your pet. No mileage, no surcharges.
Some providers start with a base fee and add to it by weight, distance, or time of day. We'd rather you know the whole cost before you call. What you see above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Flowing Wells sits between I-10 and Oracle Road, along Flowing Wells Road, Prince Road, Wetmore and Ruthrauff, and it's a quick drive for us from most of town. If you're in an apartment or a mobile home park, tell us the unit or space number and any gate code when you book, so we can come straight to your door.
We come to homes throughout Flowing Wells, including the streets along Flowing Wells Road, Prince Road, Wetmore and Ruthrauff, and the neighborhoods near the Rillito River path. The list is a sample, not a boundary. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you right away whether we can reach you.
Your visit is led by a veterinarian whose work is end-of-life care at home. They know how hard this day is, and they won't hurry you.
Before anything happens, they'll explain every step, and you can ask anything at all.
We sit down with you first. We'll ask about your pet, explain what is about to happen, and answer anything you want to ask. You choose where your pet rests: their bed, your lap, the couch, a favorite corner of the yard.
When you're ready, your pet receives a sedative that includes strong pain medication. Over five to fifteen minutes they relax completely and fall deeply asleep. Only when you say so does the veterinarian give the final injection. It is quiet, and it is quick.
Afterward we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur for you to keep, and we give you time alone.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If your pet has already died at home, please call or text 520-600-0339. We can come to your home in Flowing Wells, gently take your pet into our care, and arrange the cremation: $455 for communal cremation, or $590 if you'd like your pet's ashes returned.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. Calling early gives us the most room to fit you in.
