Casas Adobes is a settled part of the northwest side, with ranch homes on big lots, mesquite and palo verde in the yards, and plenty of pets who have spent a lifetime patrolling them. When the time comes, we come to you, so your pet can rest in the yard or the room they love rather than on an exam table.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
Casas Adobes is inside our service area, so there's no travel fee, and no added charge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
A lot of in-home providers charge more for a larger pet, more for the drive, and more after hours. We keep it simple: the figure above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Most of Casas Adobes sits between Oracle Road and Thornydale, along Ina, Magee and Orange Grove, and it's an easy drive for us. Some of the older lots have long driveways and house numbers that are hard to read at dusk, so if we're coming late in the day, tell us what to look for. We'll call when we're on the way.
We visit homes all over Casas Adobes, including the neighborhoods around Casas Adobes Plaza and Tohono Chul, the streets off La Cholla and Magee, and the Overton and Thornydale area. This is a sample, not a boundary. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you whether we can reach you.
The veterinarian who comes to you does this work by choice. In-home euthanasia isn't a side service for us; it's the whole practice.
There's no schedule pressing on your visit. We stay as long as you need.
Nothing happens until you're ready. We start by sitting with you, learning a little about your pet, and answering every question, including the ones that feel hard to ask. Your pet stays wherever they're comfortable.
A sedative with strong pain medication comes first, and over the next five to fifteen minutes your pet drifts into a deep sleep. When you give the word, and not before, the veterinarian gives the final injection. It is gentle and quick.
You'll keep a clay pawprint and a lock of fur, and we'll give you all the time you need alone together.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If you're reading this because your pet has already died at home, we can still come. Body care means we travel to your home in Casas Adobes, take your pet into our care gently, and handle everything that follows, at $455 with communal cremation or $590 if you'd like the ashes back. Call or text 520-600-0339.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. The earlier you call, the more room we have to come when you want us.
Yes. Many families choose a favorite spot outdoors. If it's hot or windy, we'll help you find a shaded, sheltered place where your pet is comfortable.
