Oro Valley sits at the foot of the Santa Catalinas, and a lot of the pets we'll meet there have spent years on the trails near Catalina State Park or stretched out on a patio while the light goes pink on Pusch Ridge. When it's time, we'd like your pet to keep that view instead of trading it for a clinic waiting room. We come to you, and your pet stays home.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
Oro Valley is inside our service area, so there's no travel fee, and no added charge for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
A lot of in-home providers charge more for a larger pet, more for the drive, and more after hours. We keep it simple: the figure above is what you pay.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Our care coordinators answer calls and texts from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day of the week. Same-day visits are sometimes possible, and calling earlier in the day gives us the best chance.
When you book, we'll give you a two-hour arrival window, an hour on either side of your appointment time. If you're not ready to book and just need to ask questions, that's fine too. There's no charge and no pressure.
Oro Valley's main routes are Oracle Road, La Cañada Drive and La Cholla Boulevard, and most of the town is an easy drive for us. Some communities, like Stone Canyon, are guard-gated, and many others use gate codes. Tell us the community name and how to get in when you book, and we'll sort it out before the day so nobody is stuck at a callbox.
We come to homes throughout Oro Valley, including Rancho Vistoso, Sun City Oro Valley, Stone Canyon, La Reserve, Cañada Hills, and the neighborhoods off Lambert Lane and Naranja Drive. If yours isn't on the list, that almost certainly doesn't mean we can't reach you. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you straight away.
Your visit is led by a veterinarian whose work is end-of-life care at home. They know how hard this day is, and they won't hurry you.
Before anything happens, they'll explain every step, and you can ask anything at all.
The visit starts with a conversation, not a procedure. The veterinarian will want to hear about your pet and will walk you through each step in order. Your pet can rest wherever they're most at ease: in your arms, on their own bed, or out on the patio.
First comes a sedative with strong pain relief. Within five to fifteen minutes your pet is deeply asleep and comfortable. The final injection is given only when you tell us you're ready, and the passing is peaceful.
Before we leave, we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur as keepsakes, and you'll have time alone with your pet.
After the visit, we gently take your pet into our care and handle the cremation, so there is nothing more for you to arrange. Choosing individual cremation means your pet's ashes are returned to you, and we'll let you know when they're ready. Choosing communal cremation means your pet is cremated with other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If your pet has already died at home, please call or text 520-600-0339. We can come to your home in Oro Valley, gently take your pet into our care, and arrange the cremation: $455 for communal cremation, or $590 if you'd like your pet's ashes returned.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. If you call earlier in the day, it's easier for us to come at the time you'd like.
Just the community name and the gate code or guard instructions when you book. If we need to be added to a visitor list, we'll give you the names to add.
No. There's no mileage or travel fee, and nothing added for evenings, weekends, holidays, or the size of your pet. The price is $405.
