In the Catalina Foothills, a lot of pets have spent their whole lives watching the city lights from a patio high above Tucson. We come up the hill to you so your pet can stay right there, in the place they know, with the people who love them, instead of making one last trip down to a clinic.
$405: At-home euthanasia
$555: At-home euthanasia with communal cremation, ashes not returned
$690: At-home euthanasia with individual cremation, ashes returned to you
That is the whole price. There is no travel fee, and nothing extra for evenings, weekends, holidays, or a bigger dog.
Many providers price by weight and add fees for the drive out and for evenings and weekends, so the number you're quoted is rarely the number you pay. We don't work that way. The price above is the price on your invoice.
REQUEST A VISIT CALL OR TEXT 520-600-0339
Someone is available to talk from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. We do our best to fit in same-day requests, and if we can't come when you need us, we'll tell you honestly.
We give a two-hour arrival window, one hour either side of your appointment time, so we can arrive unhurried. And if you just want to talk things through before deciding anything, call us. There's no charge for that conversation.
Foothills homes are often tucked up long, steep drives or behind private gates, and house numbers can be hard to find on the winding streets north of Skyline and Sunrise. When you book, tell us about any gate, the code, and anything that marks your driveway. If parking is tight at the top, we'll work it out with you ahead of time.
We come to homes throughout the Catalina Foothills, including Ventana Canyon, Pima Canyon, Finger Rock, the Catalina Foothills Estates, and the neighborhoods along Skyline, Sunrise and Campbell. That's only a sample. Call or text 520-600-0339 and we'll tell you straight away whether we can reach you.
A Luna veterinarian comes to your home for every appointment. Our veterinarians chose this work on purpose: gentle, in-home euthanasia is what they do, not something squeezed in between clinic appointments.
Nobody is on a stopwatch. The visit takes as long as you need it to.
We sit down with you first. We'll ask about your pet, explain what is about to happen, and answer anything you want to ask. You choose where your pet rests: their bed, your lap, the couch, a favorite spot on the patio.
When you're ready, your pet receives a sedative that includes strong pain medication. Over five to fifteen minutes they relax completely and fall deeply asleep. Only when you say so does the veterinarian give the final injection. It is quiet, and it is quick.
Afterward we make a clay pawprint and clip a lock of fur for you to keep, and we give you time alone.
We take care of everything after the visit. Your pet leaves your home with us, snuggled in a clean blanket, and we handle the cremation from there. With individual cremation, your pet's ashes come back to you, and we'll tell you when they're ready. With communal cremation, your pet is cremated alongside other pets and the ashes are not returned.
If your pet has already died at home, please call or text 520-600-0339. We can come to your home in the Catalina Foothills, gently take your pet into our care, and arrange the cremation: $455 for communal cremation, or $590 if you'd like your pet's ashes returned.
We do our best to come the same day or the next. An early call gives us the most room to come when you'd like.
Not at all. Tell us about the gate, the drive, and anything that marks your turn, and we'll plan the approach before the day.
No. The price is $405 anywhere in our service area, with nothing added for evenings, weekends, holidays, or larger pets.
